Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Packer Inspector for night shift (6pm–6am) to support fast-paced manufacturing. You will inspect products for defects, pack finished goods, and ensure proper packaging configuration. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to standard work instructions in a production warehouse environment.

Starting rate is $18.50 per hour with a $2.00 night differential, paid weekly; stations require PPE and physical stamina for long shifts, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.
• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment.

• Keep station clean and ensure supplies are stocked (boxes, tape, etc.).

Packer Inspector Compensation:

• Starting rate $18.50 an hour+ $2.00 shift differential for nights - paid weekly

Packer Inspector available Night Shifts: 6pm - 6am

As a Packer Inspector, you will:Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment
• Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues
• Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)
• Keep station clean at all times
• Follow safety guidelines at all times

Education and/or Experience:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.

Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demand/Effort:

Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities could include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes from 0-50 lbs depending on the line assigned; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
• Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankle
