Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Packer Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will pack finished goods, inspect for defects, and ensure correct packaging configurations while working safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Starting rate is $17 per hour with day shifts (8 AM–8 PM) and night shifts (8 PM–8 AM). Candidates should be able to lift and move boxes, follow standard work instructions, and communicate issues to the team lead as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.

Job Description

Do you have experience working in Manufacturing, Packing Products off Conveyor lines, Mechanical Aptitude, Working with Plastic molding??? If so, WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!


Packer Inspector Compensation:


  • Starting rate $17 an hour

Packer Inspector available Day shifts: 8AM- 8PM and Night shifts: 8PM - 8AM


As a Packer Inspector, you will:Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.


Physical Demand/Effort:


Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities could include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes from 0-50 lbs depending on the line assigned; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.


  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
  • Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
  • Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
  • Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
