JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paper Plates: Remove paper plates from plastic bags, place in paper bags for further packaging, place on conveyor belt to be packed in boxes, assemble, tape, and label boxes and stack on palettes.
- Mess Trays: Measure the specified number of mess trays and remove them from the master carton, pack mess trays in plastic bags, seal bags, and pack bags in boxes, assemble, tape, and label boxes and stack on palettes.
- Maintain the required production output levels as specified by supervisor.
- Inspect products to identify and report possible defects, as specified.
- Work and coordinate within the product flow of the department and coordinate all activities with supervisor.
- Assist with routine inventory checks as needed.
- Adhere to the Lighthouse safety plan by utilizing safe workplace practices and reporting all injuries, accidents, near misses, emergencies, and safety hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School / GED preferred.
- Special Knowledge: None required.
- Experience: None required.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
- Physical: Able to perform duties as required by department and function, accommodations may be made if reasonable and feasible. Able to travel throughout the facility to safely and effectively manage all work responsibilities, breaks, and emergency evacuations, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Able to manage all self-care needs and activities of daily living as required to support successful employment, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
