LXS Homes is seeking dedicated Movers and Drivers to join our relocation and logistics team. You will be responsible for safely packing, loading, transporting, and unloading furniture, equipment, and household goods for our residential clients.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in the moving industry, a clean driving record for drivers, strong physical stamina, and excellent customer service. If you take pride in doing a job carefully, efficiently, and with a positive attitude, we want you on

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2+ years as professional mover or driver in moving/logistics.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and navigate moving trucks to client locations.
• Wrap furniture and fragile items with blankets, bubble wrap, and packing supplies.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo using proper stacking techniques, dollies, ramps, and straps.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed and place items in designated rooms.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service throughout the moving process.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain inventory lists.
• Follow all safety policies and keep the work area and truck clean.

Job Summary. LXS Homes is growing, and we are looking for dedicated, hardworking, and experienced Movers and Drivers to join our professional relocation and logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely packing, loading, transporting, and unloading furniture, equipment, and household goods for our residential clients. . The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the moving industry, strong physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and—for driver applicants—a clean driving record and experience operating box trucks or commercial moving vehicles. Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transport & Driving: Safely drive and navigate company moving trucks to and from client locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations..
• Packing & Wrapping: Properly wrap furniture, appliances, and fragile items using moving blankets, bubble wrap, and packing supplies to prevent damage..
• Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load, secure, and unload cargo in moving trucks using proper stacking techniques, dollies, ramps, and straps..
• Assembly & Placement: Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed, and place items in designated rooms according to customer specifications..
• Customer Care: Act as the face of LXS Homes by providing courteous, professional, and friendly communication with clients throughout the moving process..
• Inspection & Inventory: Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, manage inventory lists, and report any incidents or equipment issues immediately..
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies, practice correct heavy-lifting ergonomics, and keep the work site and truck clean..

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of [1–2+ years] of proven hands‑on experience as a professional mover or truck driver in the moving/logistics industry..
• Driver Requirements (For Driver Positions): Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Commercial Driver's License / CDL is a plus, but standard box truck experience is accepted)..
• Physical Strength: High physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to safely lift and carry heavy items (70+ lbs) repeatedly throughout a full shift..
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients..
• Reliability & Professionalism: Punctual, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a neat appearance..
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred..
