Job Details:

Join Tyson Foods to make a meaningful impact! We create quality products in a safe environment, offering competitive pay and great benefits. Our facility operates six days a week, producing sausage crumbles and dry sausage.

The starting pay is $19.25/hour, with an additional $1.10/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

Role Overview:

This entry-level, non-skilled packer labor position involves maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Packaging product at a rate matching established production standards.
• Palletizing/hand stacking finished products.
• Labeling and folding boxes.
• Operating various material handling equipment.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Adhering to safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
• Participating in rotation positions, if applicable.
• Working overtime and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 40 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Occasional wrist/hands gripping and flexing.
• Reaching high and low levels frequently.
• Moving between production areas.
• Visually inspecting products.

Previous Tyson employees have a rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to three employment instances.
