Pretium Packaging in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Packer Inspector on 2nd shift (3:50pm–12:00am) to inspect and package plastic products, ensuring quality and accurate labeling. This full-time, on-site role offers benefits and opportunities for growth within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks or color issues.
• Package products per specifications and ensure proper sealing.
• Label packages with required product information and warnings.
• Monitor production line efficiency and resolve packaging issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and notify when supplies are low.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Packer, you're responsible for inspecting and packaging plastic products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
