Job summary

SilkRoad in Tennessee is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support production operations, following standard sheets to determine requirements and place parts into inventory baskets. You will visually inspect components for defects and perform first piece inspections as needed.

Responsibilities include recording production and inventory data, labeling parts, and maintaining punctual attendance in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Regularly meeting hourly or daily production goals.
• Fast-paced manufacturing setting experience.
• Ability to use small hand tools like a grinder.

• Manually place parts into inventory baskets.
• Inspect components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.
• Perform first piece inspection of setup parts as required by Quality Inspection Instructions and/or as directed by supervisor.
• Record and report production, quality and inventory information accurately.
• Label and/or tag parts and baskets accurately.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
• Assume other duties as directed by supervisor.
