Job Title: Packer Hanger

FLSA Status: Hourly, Full-time

Summary: Works on the paint line loading/unloading products to ensure continuous flow on a moving production line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Fill containers with parts, hang parts for paint processing, load/unload painted articles, rack workpieces, inspect, mark, and transfer finished pieces.
  2. Clean work area and perform routine duties.
  3. Other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies:

  • Quality: Demonstrates accuracy, promotes quality, and applies feedback.
  • Quantity: Meets productivity standards and works efficiently.
  • Safety: Follows safety procedures, reports hazards, and uses equipment properly.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Not applicable

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
  • Ability to read and write simple instructions and present information clearly.
  • Mathematical skills to handle basic calculations and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.

Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, handle, reach, climb; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch; lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly, 100 pounds occasionally; specific vision abilities required.

Work Environment: Exposure to moving parts, fumes, humidity, chemicals, electrical risk; loud noise levels.
