Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Chatsworth, Georgia, is seeking a Packer for the C Shift to move textiles, load shipments, and ensure accurate stocking and labeling for dispatch. You will operate lift trucks and stock-pickers as part of a textiles handling team.

The role requires basic English, basic math, and the ability to stand, lift and maneuver up to 55 lbs. Prior lift-truck/stock-picker experience is preferred, and Mohawk is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Move product within the department, push buggies of textiles, transport textiles, and assist with lifting.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow procedures.
• Lift/move products weighing up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Operate lift trucks and stock-pickers as required.
• Transport correct stock items and units from inventory for shipment.
• Label products in inventory and operate scanners and PCs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for moving product from various areas within the department including pushing buggies of textiles, transporting textiles, lifting textiles, etc.
• Expected to maintain all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position.
• Responsible for lifting or moving product weighing in excess of 75 pounds.
• Responsible for operating lift trucks and stock-pickers as needed.
• Responsible for transporting correct stock item and number of units from inventory for shipment.
• Responsible for labeling product in inventory.
• Responsible for operating scanner equipment and PC as needed.
