Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a full-time Packer for a 2-2-3 schedule (6:00AM - 6:30PM) on-site. You will inspect and package plastic products, ensuring quality and proper labeling, while supporting efficient production and safe practices.

This role emphasizes attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced team setting. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and some packaging/manufacturing experience.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure readiness for packaging.
• Package products according to specifications and seal properly.
• Label packages with accurate product information and warnings.
• Monitor production line efficiency and address packaging issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and help find solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and notify when resupplies are needed.

As a Packer, you're responsible for inspecting and packaging plastic products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed.
