Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Packer in Northern Kentucky to inspect and package plastic products, ensuring quality and accurate labeling for shipment. This full-time role offers stability, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging is helpful.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods and lift/move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and warnings.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving packaging or production issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify when supplies need replenishment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
