Primary Responsibility

Safely and efficiently handle and pack finished goods into shipping boxes per customer specifications to ensure quality products are produced at a consistent rate of speed and in accordance with machine standards and production goals.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Review and follow job ticket instructions for each production run to determine size, quantity, stack pattern, and labeling instructions required for packing and/or shrink wrapping before shipment.
  • Assemble corrugated shipping cases and place on conveyor at a consistent rate to supply the packing line.
  • Handle and pack converted material into shipping cases, ensure proper count and stacking, and fill finished goods from conveyor.
  • Ensure proper sealing of cases and maintain tape machine, reporting issues as needed.
  • Stack cases on pallets securely, attach proper tags, and rotate responsibilities as instructed.
  • Maintain quality standards by inspecting products, sorting defective parts, and communicating quality issues.
  • Perform quality checks, discard defective products properly, and follow waste minimization procedures.
  • Follow all safety policies, wear PPE, and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Coordinate with team members to alternate duties and record production data accurately.
  • Seek process improvements and complete required safety and training programs.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and collaborate effectively with others to improve operations.
  • Utilize downtime for cleaning or other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience; basic computer skills.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly; understand instructions.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math, read tape measures, and understand measurement systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and perform physical tasks for 10 hours with breaks.
  • Work Environment: Exposure to dust, noise, moving machinery; safety gear required; accommodations available for disabilities.
Shift and Location

2nd Shift: 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday-Thursday
