CHG is seeking a Packer to maintain packaging lines, perform product inspections, and follow SQF/GMP guidelines in a fast-paced facility. You will rotate tasks across packaging, boxing, and palletizing, while entering production data in the ERP system and supporting continuous improvement.
Strong communication, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. The role requires reliability, flexibility, and the willingness to work varied shifts in a food manufacturing environment.
The Packer is responsible for maintaining the production lines running efficiently and ensuring all product is packaged by the specifications and guidelines. The Packer will have job rotations within their shift that may include manual packaging, sealing product, organizing product into boxes, and putting product on pallets, and operating pallet jacks to move/transport finished product or raw materials to other locations. The Packer will also perform visual product inspections and report any issues. The Packer must be knowledgeable of all product specifications and be familiar with production reports. The Packer will always prioritize safety and general manufacturing practices. The packer will access product specifications via the company's ERP system and will be required to enter data into the system.
