Summary:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packer is responsible for processing high-quality fresh fish to fulfill customer orders. Additionally, this individual maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up work area
• Arrange packing materials
• Make boxes
• Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor regarding items to pack and quantities
• Process product on designated machines (placing fish on containers, applying stickers, and packing into shipping boxes)
• Place processed product into transport containers and move to the packing station
• Complete assigned tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor
• Follow specifications for the product as instructed
• Clean and sanitize work areas (tables, sinks, cutting boards, drains, curtains, floors, scales, etc.) as instructed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year factory-related experience preferred.

Work Environment:

Refrigerated/cold environment with standing for long hours.
