Job summary

Silgan Containers in Flora, Illinois is seeking a Packer to inspect and pack bottles on assigned production lines in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

You will perform light physical duties, maintain a clean and safe workspace, assemble cartons, and follow all safety policies to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Inspect bottles on assigned production line(s) to ensure quality standards are met.
• Pack finished bottles according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping on assigned line(s) and surrounding work areas, including mopping when necessary.
• Assemble cartons as assigned to support production needs.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with all Silgan safety requirements to prevent injury to self and co-workers.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
