Job summary

Silgan is seeking a Packer to inspect and pack bottles on assigned production lines in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing setting. You will stay active, contribute to product quality, and perform light physical duties while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

This role involves assembling cartons, following established procedures, and promoting a safe work environment by adhering to all safety rules and Silgan requirements to protect yourself and teammates.

Qualifications

• Inspect bottles on assigned production line(s) to ensure quality standards are met.
• Pack finished bottles according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping on assigned line(s) and surrounding work areas, including mopping when necessary.
• Assemble cartons as assigned to support production needs.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with all Silgan safety requirements to prevent injury to self and co-workers.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor
