Job summary

Lodge Cast Iron, a longtime American cookware maker based in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, is looking for a Packer. The role supports our manufacturing line by labeling, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring first- and second-quality items move through the process.

Typical duties include removing castings from the seasoning line, applying labels, stacking packages, and operating packing, scanning, and wrapping equipment.

A day in the life of a Packer

Each shift begins with removing castings from the seasoning line and performing a final quality inspection to ensure only first- and second-quality products move forward. You will apply the correct labels and packaging, close and stack packages according to item specifications, and prepare pallets for wrapping and shipment. Throughout the day, you’ll operate packing, scanning, and wrapping equipment to keep product moving efficiently to the distribution center. The role is hands‑on, detail-focused, and fast‑paced, requiring consistent accuracy, communication, and adherence to safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Champion of safety!
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic hand tool knowledge.
• Ability to meet physical requirements: standing, lifting, bending, and using safety equipment.
• 2+ years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Forklift license is advantageous!
