Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Packer for our Sandusky, OH team. This 3rd shift role trains on the 2nd shift, handling packing and basic quality checks to ensure products meet standards.

Training on 2nd shift (2pm–10pm, Mon–Fri) precedes a 3rd shift (10pm–6am, Sun–Fri) schedule. Pay starts at $18/hr during training, rising to $18.50/hr after transfer, with a MEC benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Stable work history is preferred.
• Basic math skills required and capable of passing a math test.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as part of routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate product counts and quality inspections prior to packing.
• Package items according to company specifications and standards.
• Prepare and organize finished goods for timely shipment.
• Complete all required shipping documentation with attention to detail.
• Identify and report any defects or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Packer to join our team in Sandusky, OH. This is a 3rd shift position that trains on 2nd shift. The role involves packing and preparing finished products for shipment, as well as performing basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

Hours:

Training on 2nd shift – 2pm – 10pm, Mon.- Fri.
Once trained, hours will be 10pm-6am – Sun.-Fri. morning

Pay:

$18/hr. during the training period, then $18.50/hr. once moved to 3rd shift
