Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking several Packers to join a client’s warehouse team as a Packer/Scanner. You will scan products with handheld devices, place items into totes, and prepare shipments for boxing and dispatch. Training is provided to learn the scanning and packing workflow.

The role starts on 1st shift with 8–5/8–2 hours, then transitions to 2nd shift 4:00pm–12:30am based on schedule. Prior warehouse experience and ability to stay active are required.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience required.
• Comfort using handheld scanning equipment and following step-by-step procedures.
• Ability to stand and stay active throughout the shift.
• Willingness to complete a county background check as required.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Use handheld scan guns to scan product and follow the on-shelf green light direction.
• Place scanned items into totes and push them down a conveyor belt for packing into boxes.
• Support the packing process by preparing items for shipment, including labeling and box preparation.
• Perform basic packing duties based on picking slips and shipment requirements.
• Stay focused and consistent while working on your feet for the full shift.

Job description

Our client is seeking severalPackers to join their team. As a Packer, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting daily fulfillment and shipment preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to follow clear instructions—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packer / Scanner

Pay Range: $17.00/hr

Shift: Training is1st shift M–Thurs 8–5, Fri 8–2 for 2 weeks
Then position will transition to 2nd shift Sun–Thurs 4:00pm–12:30am

What's the Job?

• Use handheld scan guns (similar to an iPhone) to scan product and follow the on-shelf green light direction.
• Place scanned items into totes and push them down a conveyor belt for packing into boxes.
• Support the packing process by preparing items for shipment, including labeling and box preparation.
• Perform basic packing duties based on picking slips and shipment requirements.
• Stay focused and consistent while working on your feet for the full shift.
• No heavy lifting required
