Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC in Elkhart, IN is seeking a packer to operate in a fast-paced environment on a 12-hour shift, packing aluminium extrusions to meet customer specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lift and pack parts, use a tape measure, and perform basic math while coordinating with the Packing team and following work instructions. Competitive benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Follow packing instructions according to unique customer specifications.
• Lift and pack aluminium parts individually and with a partner.
• Uses measurement tools and visual inspection to verify quality of parts.
• Finishes tasks in a timely manner to meet productivity goals.
• Work closely with Packing team members and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Follows applicable Job Safety Analysis and Work Instructions.
• Able to work set schedule for full 12hour shift.

Summary

Work closely with team to pack, band, and tag aluminium extrusions into bundles in a timely manner, to meet goals for Pack-Load-Ship process. Fast paced environment in both hot and cold conditions.
