Job summary

Resource Label Group in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Packer to support our Finishing and Warehouse teams. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful, but training is provided.

Shifts include 1st (6 AM - 2 PM) and 2nd (2 PM - 10 PM with +2/hr differential). Hours are Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Join a hands-on team focused on finishing and inventory in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred (training available).
• Willing to train candidates with no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull master rolls from Press Department and move to Finishing staging area.
• Assemble boxes for packing finished goods.
• Pack finished goods into cartons, seal, and label.
• Place completed cartons on skid or cart.
• Label skids and weighs at the scale.
• Convey finished skid to warehouse holding location for inventory.
• Replenish stock of raw materials at Rewind stations using pallet jack.
• Complete required paperwork.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Packer to join our team! The Packer will play a crucial role in supporting our Finishing and Warehouse departments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment however, we are willing to train!

Hours

Monday-Friday, Overtime as needed

Shifts

1st Shift 6 AM - 2 PM

2nd Shift 2 PM-10 PM - +2/hr shift differential**

Responsibilities

• Pull master rolls from Press Department and move to Finishing staging area to be used by Rewind operators


• Assemble boxes for use in packing finished goods


• Place rolls of finished product in cartons, tape & label cartons of finished goods


• Place completed cartons on skid or cart


• Label completed skids and takes to scale for weighing


• Convey finished skid to warehouse holding location to be placed into inventory


• Replenishes stock of raw materials at each Rewind station and in the Rewind Area using pallet jack


• Completes paperwork
