Job summary

Job description

Parts Puller/Packer

This role pulls parts from inventory and stages them for the different assembly areas, enabling assemblers to stay at their stations and efficiently build orders. When products are assembled, the puller performs final quality control checks and packages each product with care before shipment, ensuring safe transport and accurate order fulfillment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Pull various parts from inventory and stage them for the different assembly areas so assemblers can build their orders quickly and accurately.
  • Package items by wrapping, boxing or bagging according to standard specifications, ensuring they are ready for transport.
  • Inspect products for damages or defects before packaging to maintain quality standards.
  • Attach labels, barcodes and other identifying marks to packages, ensuring accurate information for tracking and compliance.
  • Sort products by work order.
  • Track stock levels of packaging materials (boxes, tape, etc.) and report shortages.
  • Operate packaging machines.
  • Keep the packaging area clean and organized, performing light maintenance on equipment as necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or packaging role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for 2‑4 hours at a time.
  • Skilled at handling small, delicate items and performing tasks that require precision and care.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn to operate packaging machinery such as shrink‑wrap machines, labelers, and scales.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team.
Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing for 2‑4 hours at a time. Must be able to lift and/or move items of 50 pounds.

Drug Free Workplace

We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre‑employment 10‑panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on the ability to pass this screening and partake in a quarterly random screen.

Hours, Compensation & Benefits

Full‑time 7am to 4pm with breaks. Some flexibility may be needed to close out monthly and quarterly shipments.

Hourly Rate: $20 per hour, negotiable based on experience and skill set.

After a 30‑day waiting period, full‑time employees become eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, paid holidays and paid time off that increases with longevity. After 90 days you can participate in 401(k).
