Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Packer for the 2nd or 3rd shift to operate equipment and produce plastic containers for leading brands. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As an Associate, you will inspect products for visual defects, maintain equipment, and participate in ongoing training to grow your knowledge and skills. A High School Diploma or GED is required; lifting up to 50 pounds may be needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Mechanical, electrical or other technical/machine operation ability.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

You Will

Operate equipment in the finishing stages of production in a safe manner

Assure quality standards are always met by inspecting & removing products with visual defects

Clean & maintain equipment to assure optimal operating performance

Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

Ability to work 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift, training on 1st shift

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Mechanical, electrical or other technical/machine operation ability. This can be experience gained through paid or unpaid work

Able to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

You’ll Earn

$17.50/hr.

PLUS $1 per hour Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift
