Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Packaging Utility Trainee in Delhi, LA. The role supports Packaging Operators by supplying materials, monitoring product and package flow, and performing routine quality checks.

You will work under the supervision of the Production/Packaging Lead, Team Leader, and Packaging Operators to build the skills needed for future Operator roles. Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, feeding conveyors, verifying codes, recycling

Qualifications

• Able to communicate and follow instructions in English (written and oral).
• Must be able to pass Sanitation Step Up Card.

Responsibilities

• Owns, operates, and monitors case erecting, packing, sealing, and coding equipment to optimize performance.
• Feeds products to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices.
• Places supplies in feeding devices.
• Verifies Lot Numbers and codes of Packaging supplies.
• Operates/monitors cardboard balers.
• Performs inspections of containers and reports issues affecting safety, quality, or line efficiency.
• Reports mechanical or electrical issues to Team Leaders and Maintenance.
• Completes required packaging, quality, sanitation, and training documentation.
