Job summary

Lamb Weston is seeking a Packaging Operator to oversee the efficiency and sanitation of packaging equipment, from the discharge of the Freeze Tunnel to bagging and coding. You will participate in safety checks, operate HMIs, and troubleshoot issues to maintain product quality.

The role requires standing for long periods and climbing stairs throughout the shift. Responsibilities include adjusting line equipment, ensuring correct container weights, and training new operators as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively and understand both verbal and written instructions.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work on feet all day (60/40 walking/standing).
• Must have a basic Mechanical and Computer aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties for a successful Cut Change.
• Understand how Frozen Grading works and adjust equipment for optimum performance.
• Swap equipment Change Parts throughout the line and ensure correct product weight is bagged.
• Check Bag/Case Code and ensure containers are Food Safe.
• Fix and identify defects; complete Hands on Validation with retraining if needed.
• Exercise LOTO for all pertinent equipment and follow Safety duties.
