Job summary

Key duties include monitoring training levels, identifying SMEs, reviewing safety and SOP documents, providing hands-on training when needed, and ensuring adherence to company policies, safety rules, and GMP standards across the plant.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills required, MS Office proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor training level of overall teams within scope; work with Training Specialist to develop training strategy.
• Identify Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on each team to aid training efforts.
• Review training documents with employees to include safety documents, lock out tag out procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), standard work, etc.
• Provide limited hands-on training as required.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and plant procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Maintain Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other support groups in a participative management style.
• Handle additional duties and accountabilities required by management to meet operational standards.

Summary

The job is required to fully understand the purpose and operation of all processing areas on all lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor training level of overall teams within scope. Work with Training Specialist to develop training strategy for those teams.

• Maintain necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style conducive with operational goals.
• Ensure that additional duties and accountabilities required by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational standards.

Typical Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Relevant Experience

• Previous training experience is helpful.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English in a manner to successfully complete job duties.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Must be able to use MS Office products.
