Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Packaging Specialist for Lee's Summit, MO. The role is day shift on a 2-2-3 schedule, with pay starting at $20.60 per hour and benefits effective on day one, including Medical, Dental, Vision and a 401(k) with match.

The Packaging Specialist will handle housekeeping, case making, inspecting, and packing, while adhering to safety, quality, and GMP guidelines. Requires strong communication and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping in the production area.
• Perform case making, inspecting and packing of finished products.
• Follow safety, health, and quality policies and procedures.
• Inspect finished product for defects before packing.
• Notify supervisor of potential problems with product or machinery.
• Assist in training regular and temporary staff on packing and case machines.
