Job summary

The Packaging Technician I at Alcami Corporation is responsible for inspecting, labeling and packaging solid dose and parenteral pharmaceutical products for commercial distribution and clinical trials, following batch records and SOPs to ensure cGMP compliance.

You'll operate inspection and packaging equipment on a fast-paced site, document activities clearly, perform basic math, and support quality standards while potentially working occasional weekend hours as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 2+ years work experience.
• Mechanical or pharmaceutical experience not required.
• Mechanical aptitude or work within a regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents activities clearly and accurately.
• Performs basic math calculations.
• Operates solid dose inspection, labeling and packaging equipment.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Performs in-process checks and component counting.
• Performs cleaning of rooms, tools and equipment.
• Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.
• Works occasional hours outside of scheduled shift based on business needs, which may include weekend work.
• Other duties as assigned.
