Job summary

Mesa Laboratories, Inc. in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Operator I to safely and efficiently package products for distribution. You will use packaging materials, machinery, and manual labor to prepare items for shipment, while following procedures and maintaining clean, quality-focused work areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety, and accurate documentation. No prior packaging experience is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to guidelines using boxes, bags, wrap and labels.
• Operate basic packaging machinery such as heat sealers, bagging machines, labeling machines, and carton sealers.
• Assemble product cartons meeting quantity, size and product specs.
• Place products into containers, trays, or other shipping materials with proper alignment and secure packaging.
• Inspect packaged products to ensure no defects before sealing or shipping.
