Job summary

System One is seeking a Packaging Technician in Athens, GA for a 6‑month temp assignment. The role is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, paying $20/hr. Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, QA documentation, and adherence to cGMP/SOPs.

Requirements include HS diploma (associates preferred), 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, ability to lift 35 lbs, and forklift certification is a plus. System One offers benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma; Associate's preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Detail-oriented with effective communication skills and quality-conscious.
• Equipment/Process troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Preferred: 5+ years of related experience; Forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment (labelers, pick and place, heat tunnel, vision systems, forklift).
• Inspect product to meet quality guidelines.
• Perform equipment change-over and set-up.
• Initial troubleshooting for packaging equipment issues.
• Ensure proper cGMP documentation and adherence to procedures.
• Read and comply with GMPs and SOPs.
• Prepare QA line clearances for the line.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Cross-train in other areas.
• Communicate processing needs to co-workers and shift leaders.
• Monitor process against manufacturing records and SOPs.
• Complete batch tickets and provide improvement feedback.
