Job summary

American Health Packaging is hiring for a packaging technician to support repackaging materials and operate packaging equipment. The role emphasizes following SOPs, quality standards, and safety while maintaining accurate batch records and participating in training.

The shift runs Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm–7:30am with a $21.00 hourly base pay. Strong details include teamwork, problem solving, and a focus on continuous improvement within a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and complete compliance documentation.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production run.
• Packaging machine setup/changeovers for production runs per instructions and SOPs.
• Operate packaging equipment, troubleshoot and adjust per standards; escalate when needed.
• Repackage raw material into finished products within packaging specifications.
• Work with maintenance for mechanical issues as needed.
• Perform production room and equipment sanitation.
• Understand batch records and basic math; record information accurately.
• Engage in technical, compliance, and other required training as part of the team.
• Adhere to cGMPs and safety regulations; maintain housekeeping.
• Collaborate with quality to resolve issues and meet goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to boost efficiency.
• Support other areas to ensure production goals are met.
