Job summary

Millenniumsoft in Woburn, MA is seeking a Packaging Technician I to support manual inspection, labeling and packaging of clinical and commercial products. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of industry experience. Training is provided for four weeks on first shift, then transition to second shift.

Shift runs 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with potential overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 6 months of industry work experience.
Must be able to read and understand documentation.
Must be able to follow procedures and quality specifications.
Nice to have GMP manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Train on first shift for 4 weeks then transition to second shift.
Responsible for manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
Perform finished product packaging to satisfy customer and internal demand.
Ensure packaging meets procedures and Quality specifications.
Inspect in-process packaging and components for quality; remove defects.
Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing activities (DHR and inventory counts).
Perform simple math for batch records.
Assist with inventory counting.
Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions.
Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and equipment.
Follow PPE and contamination control requirements.
Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.
