Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, seeks a Packaging/Inspection associate at our Huntington, IN site to ensure safe, accurate shipment packaging and documentation. The role involves inspecting parts, labeling, sealing, and operating packaging equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow strict safety guidelines, support inventory tasks, and work across multiple stations with cross-training on day-to-day production orders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend work instructions, policies, job safety analysis, etc.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality and accuracy prior to packaging
• Label, seal, and pack items according to specifications
• Operate packaging equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with company standards and customer requirements
• Assist with inventory management as needed
• Other duties as assigned
