Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Packaging Operator in the United States to perform fundamental packaging tasks, including packing, stacking, and material handling. You will keep MSP/cGMP standards through equipment cleaning and strict safety compliance, while documenting production data in real time.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with 0–1 years of manufacturing experience. Associates or bachelor's degree are a plus, and training will cover MSP/cGMP standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience in pharmaceuticals/biologics processing in a GMP environment preferred.
  • 0 - 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
  • FDA regulated environment experience preferred.
  • English fluency both verbal and written.
  • Basic math skills with proficiency in metric system.
  • Accurate documentation skills is a must.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be available to work any shift, including weekends.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment is essential.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and use good judgment.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and handle of material of 50 lbs.
  • Job requires bending or ability to stand for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Working experience of Level 1 Packaging Equipment, i.e. Shrink Bander, Labeler, Cartoner, and Case Sealer
  • Receive product and material in preparation for the Packaging Operations
  • Support and comply to the compliance requirements of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
  • Must be able to safely use heavy equipment, such as pallet jacks and other non-vehicle warehouse devices
