Plastic Express in Pooler, GA is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and packaging operations in a safety-sensitive environment. You will direct up to 10 employees, plan work, and ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards.
The role requires forklift certification, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate shipping/receiving and routine maintenance. This is a full-time, exempt position with regular weekday hours and occasional overtime.

This position oversees daily warehouse and packaging operations in a safety-sensitive environment. It requires independent judgment to direct the activities of multiple employees. Reporting to the Packaging Manager, the Packaging Supervisor plans work and directs up to 10 employees, ensuring efficient material handling, packaging, equipment operation, documentation accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. The role includes oversight of packaging equipment operation, coordination of shipping/receiving activities, and routine maintenance responsibilities. The incumbent must be able to take directions and assign job tasks to the Packaging staff. Additional duties may be added or deleted at any time. The role may fulfill the duties of the Packaging Manager when required (e.g., in the absence of the Packaging Manager).

This position operates in a fast-paced warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure. The role uses standard office equipment and warehouse tools such as hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work. Hours depend on the assigned shift. Overtime, long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
