Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

As the Overnight Packaging Supervisor, you will oversee daily packaging operations and lead a team responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing cannabis products for distribution. This role will be supporting our Surterra Wellness operations in Florida.
Supervise and coordinate overnight packaging activities to meet production schedules, quality standards, and operational goals
Lead teams operating manual, semi‑automated, and fully automated packaging equipment
Monitor daily production output and ensure achievement of established productivity and quality targets
Oversee assembly and packaging processes for a variety of cannabis products in accordance with company SOPs and state regulations
Promote a culture of safety by enforcing workplace safety procedures and proactively addressing safety concerns
Manage daily inventory of cannabis and non‑cannabis materials, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and partner with Facilities and Operations teams to resolve concerns efficiently
Assist with workforce scheduling, workload planning, and inventory forecasting to support uninterrupted production
Evaluate process improvements, equipment enhancements, and operational efficiencies in partnership with site leadership
Maintain accurate production, inventory, and compliance documentation
Conduct quality audits and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control standards
1-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or production environments
Experience working with manual, semi‑automatic, and automated packaging equipment
Understanding of process manufacturing and production scaling principles
Experience with quality control systems, SOP compliance, and production documentation
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent organizational abilities with proven experience managing multiple priorities
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field
1-3 years of cannabis industry experience
Knowledge of cannabis packaging operations, inventory control, raw material tracking, and compliance requirements
Experience leading production or packaging teams in a regulated manufacturing environment
Frequent use of computers, scanners, and other production‑related equipment
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production demands
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, reaching, packaging, and data entry activities
