GRIT Staffing is seeking a detail-focused Packaging Associate to support daily packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will prepare, pack, label, and inspect finished products while ensuring quality and food-safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or food production preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and sanitation practices preferred.
• Ability to follow production schedules, work instructions, and packaging specifications.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to production schedules, customer specifications, and quality standards.
• Apply labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, and packaging information accurately.
• Verify product appearance, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy before shipment.
• Assist with basic packaging machinery and notify supervisors of equipment issues or production concerns.
• Ensure packaging materials are available and production lines remain organized and efficient.
• Comply with GMP, sanitation, safety, and quality procedures throughout the packaging process.
• Keep packaging stations clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Assist with packaging material counts and report damaged materials or inventory shortages.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse personnel to meet daily production goals and customer deadlines.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
