Michael Foods, Inc. is hiring a Utility Person to support packaging operations on the production line.

You will perform quality checks to ensure all product meets customer specifications before packing and shipping, while upholding GMP and HACCP standards to minimize variability and protect food safety. You will assist with line setup, routine maintenance checks, data entry on iPad devices, and provide coverage as needed across shifts.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and memos.
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification required.
• Experience with basic computer tablet tools and data entry is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a damp indoor environment.

Mansioni

• Perform quality checks on a designated line to ensure product meets specs.
• Maintain GMP and HACCP compliance and support SQF requirements.
• Conduct weight, quality, and metal detector checks and log data.
• Assist with line setup, troubleshooting, and shift coverage as needed.
• Coach line workers on acceptable vs unacceptable product to reduce shrink.
