Job summary

KLA Industries in Pennsylvania (north of Philadelphia) is seeking a Quality Manager for Packaging to lead two 24x5 facilities producing plastic and paper-based food packaging. You will mentor a motivated team and drive process improvements to meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, solid Quality Management experience, and familiarity with food-contact packaging, injection molding, printing, cup forming or related technologies; SQF/BRC or FDA-regulated environments and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, technical degree helpful.
• Prior Quality Management experience required. Seeking a strong leader who can mentor the team of reports in the facilities.
• Experience with food contact packaging manufacturing, injection molding, printing, cup forming, or similar technologies preferred.
• SQF / BRC or FDA regulated environment, Lean / Six Sigma training.

Responsibilities

• The Quality Manager will be responsible for the two 24x5 facilities that produce plastic and paper based food packaging products.
• Provide strong leadership and mentoring to a team of highly motivated direct reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in the plant to improve processes and ensure quality standards are met.
