Job summary

Judge Direct Placement seeks a Packaging Project Manager for a food manufacturing client. The role leads projects across multiple plants with 50% travel to sites in NY, WI, CA, ID, NH, VT, AZ, TN and MI.

You will develop project scopes, budgets and schedules; identify vendors; manage capital and operational projects from start to finish; monitor costs; coordinate meetings; and report updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• 5+ years experience on capital projects.
• Food industry experience required.
• 3+ years USDA or FDA regulated plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, drawings, budgets, schedules, and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for pricing and services.
• Manage multiple capital and operational projects from conception to completion.
• Monitor project costs and keep projects within budgets.
• Coordinate project meetings and document key decisions.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive project execution by managing schedules, resources, and risks.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
