Job summary

Kendo Holdings, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking an Independent self-starter to manage the creative development of packaging artwork for two Kendo brands. You will ensure on-time delivery of packaging artwork and deliverables from concept to final execution.

The role requires strong communication, extensive project management experience in retail or beauty, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years of project management experience in retail or agency.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Asana, Workfront, Proof, SmartSheets.
• Retail or beauty experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid organizational skills with strong time management.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with drive to excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging creation and delivery process (70%).
• Assist in bi-weekly status meetings, keep leads informed and set next steps.
• Upload and monitor project timelines through Asana.
• Monitor schedules and due dates for copy/layout/mechanical deliverables.
• Coordinate with Regulatory & Compliance for EU artwork approval.
• Inform Production Artists of daily priorities and project status.
• Follow up on questions/approvals with internal teams.
• Collaborate with Production Artist to confirm artwork releases.
• Participate in weekly Product Development and Operations meetings.
• Track requests for photos, Market Week, etc.
• Manage artwork routing in ProofHQ and check-in artwork.
