Job summary

Coveris is seeking a Production Specialist at its Tifton, GA location. You will read production orders, stack tubes and finished bags on pallets, and ensure quality and order specifications are met.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally handling a 100-pound paste-pan, and spending most of the shift standing or walking while maintaining safety and cleanliness. You must follow ISO quality checklists, report potential quality or food safety issues, and assist teammates when needed

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical understanding and ability to work with small parts and assemblies.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and batches.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and quality specs.
• Attention to cleanliness and proper labeling of materials.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and verify finished product meets quality and order specs.
• Communicate with team, prepare accurate records and perform basic math.
• Inspect products according to ISO quality checklists and ensure safety.
• Maintain clean work area according to SQF standards and document issues.
• Back up other Production Specialists as needed during absences.
