Job summary

Coveris in Tifton, GA is seeking a Production Specialist to join our team. You will check and stack tubes and finished bags, ensuring quality and order compliance, and you will position a corrugated cover over pallets during finishing.

The role requires standing most of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional 100-pound pan handling. You will follow ISO Quality Checklists, maintain clean work areas per SQF standards, and communicate clearly with team members while documenting records

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical comprehension/ability.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to read and understand production orders and quality specifications.
• Good housekeeping skills a must.
• assure unused materials are properly labeled, returned to stock and stored.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and ensure finished product meets quality and order specifications.
• Communicate with team members and maintain accurate records; perform basic math as needed.
• Stand/walk predominantly; lift bags/tubes up to 50 pounds and move pallets up to 100 pounds.
• Follow ISO Quality Checklists and SQF standards; keep work area clean.
• Report potential quality or food safety issues to supervisor or management.
• Back up other Production Specialists as needed.
