Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Production Manager to lead the Production Department, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to quality and budget standards. The role requires directing supervisors, planning production, and coordinating with various teams to optimize performance.

Ideal candidates have extensive manufacturing management experience, with background in blown film extrusion/conversion and ISO 9000 familiarity.

Qualifications

• 10 years progressively responsible management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5 years blown film extrusion/conversion experience.
• ISO 9000 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, and administers the activities of the Production department.
• Develops short term and long term production objectives and plans.
• Prepares schedules and coordinates production to meet quality and budget specifications.
• Reviews production orders and schedules to plan department operations and ensure timely delivery.
• Organizes and leads employee teams to address scrap, quality, and safety issues.
