Kelly Science & Clinical in Petersburg, VA seeks two Packaging Process Engineer II to help design, install, qualify, and ramp packaging processes for essential medicines. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, reliable production.

The role involves vendor management, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and cross-functional problem solving to drive continuous improvement and successful product launches.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Science discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in packaging/process engineering.
• Experience with pen assembly, packaging equipment, and line-level serialization preferred.
• cGMP experience preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma and data-driven root-cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone).
• CQV and greenfield facility start-up experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage equipment vendors through design, fabrication, installation, and qualification; coordinate FAT/SAT, on-site maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.
• Execute FAT, SAT, commissioning, and engineering studies; support IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
• Prepare required cGMP documentation and manage changes per site procedures.
• Coordinate technical deliverables across functions to support processes and launches.
• Lead cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive DMAIC and process improvements.
• Adapt priorities to operational disruptions and changing project needs.
• Support regulatory inspections, including FDA/DEA audits.
• Improve equipment reliability and support transition to production ramp-up.
• Provide front-line technical support to Manufacturing for packaging equipment and line serialization.
