Your responsibilities
  • Assist Packaging Tech with all supporting functions including:
  • Follows all applicable waste, scrap reduction and recycling guidelines, component traceability.
  • Feed production line with material, clear basic jams on the production line & restart the machine.
  • Operate aerial lift (certification provided).
  • Follows applicable safety rules/policies including but not limited to PPE, HAZCOM, Process Safety, LOTO and Emergency Action, complete Behavioral Safety Observations.
  • Adhere to ISO internal management system.
  • Follows current work instruction and ensures adherence to the Quality Control Plan and related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Works effectively in a team-based work environment and provides training to new hires.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and complete equipment changeovers as required.
The experience we're looking for
  • HSD or GED required + minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Competency in attention to detail, accuracy, work standards, initiative and managing work.
  • Assist in changeovers, wash outs and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments to maximize run time.
  • Ability to use electronic devices for data entry and reporting purposes.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and proficient in English.
  • Voluntary overtime opportunities (including weekend work) are common.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Proper use of PPE is always required.

Pay Rate

$24.00 per hour

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
