Job summary

CooperVision is seeking a Packaging Operator to support the Packaging Department at our West Henrietta, NY site. You will handle routine packaging tasks under SOPs, ensuring quality and efficiency in lens packaging per work orders.

The role requires basic math, computer skills, and the ability to work extended hours, including Saturdays, to meet daily packaging goals. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Basic course work in mathematics, PC and business understanding or equivalent training.
• Basic computer skills necessary for packaging software.
• Ability and dexterity to handle small items.

Responsibilities

• Gathers product and material used for packaging as required by work orders.
• Inserts blister arrays or single blisters into equipment to be labeled, cut, boxed, or glued.
• Performs basic packaging and software operations.
• Manually packs product not packed by machine.
• Understands, acknowledges and follows quality requirements and all SOPs.
