Job summary

HellermannTyton North America seeks a Packaging Operator Utility to cover breaks, replenish cell supplies, and help with housekeeping. The role requires understanding all Packaging Operator duties and adherence to quality and EHS standards.

You will participate in team meetings and ensure proper labeling of finished goods. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to read and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Fulfill all the requirements of a Packaging Operator.
• Basic computer/data entry skills using a mouse and/or keyboard are required.
• Ability to read, write, and accurately perform basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions accurately.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work for up to 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Must be a quality-conscious, detail-oriented individual.
• Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime/weekends as needed is a requirement of the job.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide break coverage to Packaging Operators throughout the workday.
• Replenish supplies at the cells as needed.
• Bring new supplies to the cell during changeovers.
• Actively participate in team meetings.
• Label finished product according to specifications.
• Advise Supervisor of any concerns related to production.
• Understand and perform all Packaging Operator functions.
• Communicate with Supervisor regarding break issues.
• Perform routine housekeeping and keep areas clean and orderly.
• Assist in maintaining certifications by supporting policies and documentation.
