The Packaging Operator role focuses on sleeving and packaging, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operation. It involves machine setup, quality checks, and keeping the line productive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with ability to perform basic calculations.
• Ability to read and write reports and present to management.
• Basic math and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sleeving and packaging machines.
• Ensure sleeves are applied correctly and bottles do not back up.
• Relieve other operators during downtime to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with loading/unloading trailers and refilling cap totes.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines.
• Follow SOPs, SSOPs, and safety regulations.
• Pass forklift exam and maintain clean work area.
• Adhere to HACCP, FDA, EPA, OSHA, USDA, and customer requirements.
