Job summary

Mars is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for the Lewisburg, Ohio facility. The role focuses on packaging finished products to meet QFS and QMP standards while supporting production efficiency.

New hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and the position requires basic math, reading, and strong safety awareness. The operator will run packaging lines, perform quality checks, document results, and assist in preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to personal safety practices and Mars standards.
• Operate packaging equipment within efficiency and product specs.
• Perform quality checks and maintain documentation per QMP and site standards.
• Complete equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance per SOPs.
• Support Mars Supply Excellence and Autonomous Maintenance in the work area.
• Adhere to sanitation, housekeeping, and safety programs.
• Participate in continuous improvement to boost plant metrics.
• Comply with food safety, QMP, and site safety programs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and Mars Five Principles.
• Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts as qualified.
